Babe, Your Ambition Has Expensive Taste

This morning, I’m sipping from a teacup full of:

“I said what I said.”

Because ambition has expensive taste, babe.

She wants the bigger room.
The beautiful opportunities.
The richer conversations.
The fuller calendar.
The next level of visibility, responsibility, and wealth.

And every time your life expands, it makes another withdrawal from your internal assets.

Your focus.

Your patience.

Your discernment.

Your capacity to stay soft without becoming porous.

Your ability to make a powerful decision without your nervous system acting like somebody just pulled the fire alarm.

That is the part of scaling nobody talks about enough.

You cannot keep asking your life to become bigger while leaving the woman holding it internally underfunded.

Because the next level does not only require another strategy.

Sometimes she needs a steadier internal state.

The kind of woman who can walk into a bigger room without shrinking.

Receive more without gripping.

Say no without rehearsing it for three business days.

Close the deal without clenching her jaw.

Let somebody misunderstand her without launching a full public-relations campaign from the shower.

And darling—

rest without feeling like she has abandoned the empire.

That is internal wealth.

Not being calm every second.

Not becoming so “healed” that nothing ever irritates you.

Please.

We have people for that.

It is having enough relationship with yourself that when pressure enters the room, you do not immediately leave yourself to manage it.

You can stay.

Soft jaw.

Open heart.

Clear signal.

Good boundaries.

A little “I said what I said” resting elegantly at the bottom of the teacup.

Because powerful women need more than stamina.

We need capacity.

Capacity to hold success without bracing against it.

Capacity to experience pleasure before everything is finished.

Capacity to discern what deserves our attention and what can remain somebody else’s emergency.

Capacity to expand without financing every beautiful new dream with our bodies.

So before you ask:

“What do I need to do next?”

Try asking:

“Who must I become to hold the life I’m scaling?”

Maybe she needs grounding.

Maybe clarity.

Maybe softening.

Maybe elevation.

Maybe, babe, she needs to slow all the way down long enough to hear herself again.

That is why we pour the tea.

Not because powerful women need another cute wellness ritual.

Because sometimes the cup becomes the place where she notices:

I am building a life my nervous system needs to learn how to receive.

And once she does?

Mmm.

Now we are scaling something worth having.

So build the business.

Take the opportunity.

Raise the standard.

Ask for more.

But while you are building the empire, darling—

make sure the woman funding it is getting richer too.

Sip slowly.

You said what you said.
