🌿 Tulsi Kadha: A Healing Cup for Stress, Immunity + Glow

Bestie, you know I wouldn’t gatekeep ancient medicine from you.
When the world feels heavy and your body’s asking for something more than coffee, let me introduce you to Tulsi Kadha — a traditional healing tea that has been whispered through kitchens and temples for over 3,000 years.

This isn’t just tea — it’s liquid resilience.

Why Tulsi?

Tulsi, also called Holy Basil, is like the wise auntie of the herbal world: grounding, protective, and always reminding you to breathe deeper.

  • 🌿 Adaptogen magic → helps the body regulate cortisol (your stress hormone)

  • 💖 Nervous system support → steadies the mind + softens anxiety

  • 🧠 Clarity boost → improves memory and concentration

  • 🌬️ Immunity ally → antimicrobial + anti-inflammatory

When you sip Tulsi daily, you’re not just drinking tea… you’re sipping on centuries of healing tradition.

🍵 Kadha Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves, whole

  • 1 black peppercorn

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 5–6 holy basil leaves (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 2 green cardamom pods

  • ¼ tsp fennel seeds

  • 1 small cinnamon stick

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 2–3 strands saffron

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 3–4 cups water

  • ½ tsp raw, unpasteurized honey

  • ½ tsp ghee or butter oil

Instructions

  1. In a pot, dry roast the whole spices — cloves, pepper, cardamom, fennel, cinnamon, and bay leaf — for 2 minutes to awaken their oils.

  2. Pour in the water, add ginger + optional spices, and bring to a boil.

  3. Add holy basil, then simmer 4–5 minutes until the water reduces by half.

  4. Strain into your favorite mug.

  5. Stir in honey + ghee while warm (never boiling hot, to protect the honey’s properties).

Ritual Notes

  • Morning sip = clarity + energy without the jitters.

  • Evening sip = grounding, calming, a warm hug for your nervous system.

  • If you’re feeling low immunity or emotional heaviness → double the tulsi.

Closing Wisdom

Tulsi Kadha isn’t just about herbs — it’s about remembering that healing can be simple, ancient, and delicious. One pot, one simmer, one sip — and suddenly, your body remembers balance.

So bestie, next time we’re together, this is what I’m brewing for us. Until then, promise me you’ll try it tonight. 💛
